Spot market electricity prices for Tuesday, Feb. 24

- Energy Exchange Istanbul (EXIST) data shows electricity market trade volume amounts to 1.43 billion Turkish liras

The highest electricity price rate for one megawatt-hour on Türkiye's day-ahead spot market for Tuesday will be 3,400 Turkish liras at 5 a.m., 6 a.m., 6 p.m. and 7 p.m. local time (0200, 0300, 1500, 1600 GMT), according to official figures released Monday.

The lowest rate was set at 235 liras at 3 p.m. local time (1200 GMT), the data showed.

The Energy Exchange Istanbul (EXIST) data for Tuesday's electricity market trade volume showed an increase of 6.4% to around 1.43 billion liras compared to Monday.

The arithmetical and weighted average prices for electricity on the day-ahead spot market are calculated at 2,271.62 liras and 2,249.45 liras, respectively.

The highest electricity price on the day-ahead spot market for one megawatt-hour for Monday was set at 3,400 liras at 7 p.m. and 8 p.m. local time (1600, 1700 GMT), while the lowest was set at 1,000.01 liras at 3 a.m local time (0000 GMT), the data showed.

US$1 equals 43.83 liras at 2.12 p.m. local time (1112 GMT) on Monday.
