The highest electricity price rate for one megawatt-hour on Turkiye's day-ahead spot market for Tuesday will be 1,524 Turkish liras between 08.00 and 11.00 local time (0500-0800 GMT), and between 18.00 and 21.00 local time (1500-1800 GMT), while the lowest is determined as 1,249.99 liras at 04.00 local time (0100 GMT), according to official figures on Monday.
The Energy Exchange Istanbul (EXIST) data for the trade volume on Monday's electricity market showed an increase of 5.69% to 745.61 million liras compared to Sunday.
The arithmetical and weighted average prices of electricity on the day-ahead spot market are calculated as 1,493.14 liras and 1,496.89 liras, respectively.
The highest electricity price rate for one megawatt-hour on the day-ahead spot market for Monday was set as 1,524 liras between 07.00 and 11.00 local time (0400-0800 GMT), and between 16.00 and 20.00 local time (1300-1700 GMT), with the lowest at 1,242.22 liras at 04.00 local time (0100 GMT).
US$1 equals 13.63 liras at 1123 GMT on Tuesday.
