Spot market electricity prices for Tuesday, Feb. 17

- Energy Exchange Istanbul (EXIST) data shows electricity market trade volume amounts to 826.33 million Turkish liras

The highest electricity price rate for one megawatt-hour on Türkiye's day-ahead spot market for Tuesday will be 3,098 Turkish liras at 8 a.m. local time (0500 GMT), according to official figures released Monday.

The lowest rate was set at 272 liras at 4 a.m. local time (0100 GMT), the data showed.

The Energy Exchange Istanbul (EXIST) data for Tuesday's electricity market trade volume showed an increase of 13.48% to around 826.33 million liras compared to Monday.

The arithmetical and weighted average prices for electricity on the day-ahead spot market are calculated at 1,322.05 liras and 1,379.82 liras, respectively.

The highest electricity price on the day-ahead spot market for one megawatt-hour for Monday was set at 3,400 liras at 5 p.m. local time (1400 GMT), while the lowest was set at 0 liras between 12 a.m and 5 a.m local time (2100-0200 GMT), the data showed.

US$1 equals 43.71 liras at 2 p.m. local time (1100 GMT) on Monday.
