Spot market electricity prices for Tuesday, Dec. 8

- Energy Exchange Istanbul (EXIST) data shows electricity market trade volume amounts to 178.34 million Turkish liras

The highest electricity rate for one megawatt-hour in the day-ahead spot market for Tuesday will be 424.89 Turkish liras at 17.00 local time and the lowest will be 249.99 liras at 04.00 local time, according to official figures on Monday.

Turkey's Energy Exchange Istanbul (EXIST) data for the trade volume on Monday's electricity market showed an increase of 11.02% to 178.34 million liras compared to Sunday.

The arithmetical and weighted average price of electricity on the day-ahead spot market is calculated as 316.29 liras and 318.30 liras, respectively.

The highest electricity price for one megawatt-hour on the day-ahead spot market on Monday was set as 335.65 liras at 17.00 local time and the lowest at 229.87 liras at 04.00 local time.

US$1 equals 7.85 Turkish liras at 1144 GMT on Monday.
