Spot market electricity prices for Tuesday, Dec. 7

- Energy Exchange Istanbul (EXIST) data shows electricity market trade amounts to 528.78 million Turkish liras

The highest electricity price rate for one megawatt-hour in Turkey's day-ahead spot market for Tuesday will be 1,217 Turkish liras between 17.00 and 18.00 local time (1400-1500 GMT), while the lowest will be 600 liras at 03.00 local time (0000 GMT), according to official figures on Monday.

Turkey's Energy Exchange Istanbul (EXIST) data for the trade volume on Monday's electricity market showed an decrease of 4.55% to 528.78 million liras compared to Sunday.

The arithmetical and weighted average price of electricity on the day-ahead spot market is calculated as 912.80 liras and 919.10 liras, respectively.

The highest electricity price for one megawatt-hour on the day-ahead spot market for Monday was set as 1,217 liras between 17.00 and 19.00 local time (1400-1600 GMT), with the lowest at 743.06 liras at 12.00 local time (0900 GMT).

US$1 equals 13.78 Turkish liras at 1120 GMT on Monday.
