Spot market electricity prices for Tuesday, Dec. 28

- Energy Exchange Istanbul (EXIST) data shows electricity market trade amounts to 566.51 million Turkish liras

The highest electricity price rate for one megawatt-hour in Turkey's day-ahead spot market for Tuesday will be 1,217 Turkish liras between 09.00 and 11.00 (0600 and 0800GMT) and between 14.00 and 21.00 local times (1100 and 1800GMT) while the lowest will be 794,56 liras at 04.00 local time (0100GMT), according to official figures on Monday.

Turkey's Energy Exchange Istanbul (EXIST) data for the trade volume on Monday's electricity market showed an increase of 1.7% to 566.51 million liras compared to Sunday.

The arithmetical and weighted average price of electricity on the day-ahead spot market is calculated as 1,073.18 liras and 1,088.70 liras, respectively.

The highest electricity price for one megawatt-hour on the day-ahead spot market for Monday was set as 1,217 Turkish liras between 08.00 and 11.00 (0500 and 0800GMT) and between 15.00 and 21.00 local time (1200 and 1800GMT), while the lowest was 794,97 liras at 04.00 local time (0100GMT).

US$1 equals 11.36 Turkish liras at 1109 GMT on Monday.
