The highest electricity price rate for one megawatt-hour on Türkiye's day-ahead spot market for Tuesday will be 3,400 Turkish liras between 8 a.m and 11 a.m., and between 1 p.m. and 7 p.m. local time (0500-0800, and 1000-1600 GMT), according to official figures released on Monday.
The lowest rate was set at 2,200 liras at 7 a.m. local time (0400 GMT), the data showed.
The Energy Exchange Istanbul (EXIST) data for Tuesday's electricity market trade volume showed an increase of 8.8% to around 2.08 billion liras compared to Monday.
The arithmetical and weighted average prices for electricity on the day-ahead spot market are calculated at 3,079.74 liras and 3,127.66 liras, respectively.
The highest electricity price on the day-ahead spot market for one megawatt-hour for Monday was set at 3,400 liras at 8 a.m., 9 a.m., and between 4 p.m. and 6 p.m. local time (0500, 0600, and 1300-1500 GMT), while the lowest was at 2,125 liras at 2 a.m. and 4 a.m. local time (2300 GMT on Sunday and 0100 GMT), the data showed.
US$1 equals 42.81 liras at 2.32 p.m. local time (1132 GMT) on Monday.
