Spot market electricity prices for Tuesday, Dec. 21

- Energy Exchange Istanbul (EXIST) data shows electricity market trade amounts to 588.02 million Turkish liras

The highest electricity price rate for one megawatt-hour in Turkey's day-ahead spot market for Tuesday will be 1,217 Turkish liras between 08.00 and 23.00 local time (0500 - 2000 GMT), while the lowest will be 847.12 liras at 03.00 local time (0000 GMT), according to official figures on Monday.

Turkey's Energy Exchange Istanbul (EXIST) data for the trade volume on Monday's electricity market showed an increase of 5.56% to 588.02 million liras compared to Sunday.

The arithmetical and weighted average price of electricity on the day-ahead spot market is calculated as 1,139.44 liras and 1,145.46 liras, respectively.

The highest electricity price for one megawatt-hour on the day-ahead spot market for Monday was set as 1,217 liras between 08.00 and 22.00 local time (0500 - 1900 GMT), with the lowest at 796.13 liras at 08.00 local time (0500 GMT).

US$1 equals 17.47 Turkish liras at 1120 GMT on Monday.
