Spot market electricity prices for Tuesday, August 18

- Energy Exchange Istanbul (EXIST) data shows electricity market trade volume amounts to 169.03 million Turkish liras

The highest electricity rate for one megawatt-hour in the day-ahead spot market for Tuesday will be 311.46 Turkish liras at 20.00 local time and the lowest will be 224.34 liras at 06.00 local time, according to official figures on Monday.


Turkey's Energy Exchange Istanbul (EXIST) data for the trade volume on the electricity market on Monday showed an increase of 4.33% to 169.03 million liras compared to Sunday.

The arithmetical and weighted average price of electricity on the day-ahead spot market is calculated as 292.49 liras and 294.672 liras, respectively.


The highest electricity price for one megawatt-hour on the day-ahead spot market on Monday was set as 310.10 liras at 20.00 local time and the lowest at 197.84 liras at 06.00 local time.


US$1 equals 7.38 Turkish liras at 1114 GMT on Monday.
