The highest electricity rate for one-megawatt hour in the day-ahead spot market for Tuesday will be 249 Turkish liras at 20.00 local time, and the lowest will be 1.85 Turkish liras at 07.00 local time, according to official figures on Monday.
Turkey's Energy Exchange Istanbul (EXIST) data for the electricity market's trade volume on Monday showed a decrease of 42.12% to 35.46 million liras compared to Sunday.
The arithmetical and weighted average price of electricity for the day-ahead spot market is calculated as 88.89 liras and 91.06 liras, respectively.
The highest electricity price on the day-ahead spot market for one-megawatt hour on Monday was set as 308.20 Turkish liras at 19.00 and 20.00 local time, and the lowest as 1 lira at 04.00 local time.
US$1 equals 6.77 Turkish liras at 1136 GMT on Monday.
