The highest electricity price rate for one megawatt-hour in Turkey's day-ahead spot market for Thursday will be 718 Turkish liras at 09.00, 10.00 and between 16.00 to 20.00 local time (06.00, 07.00 and between 13.00 to 1700 GMT), while the lowest will be 431.47 liras at 00.00 local time (2100 GMT of Wednesday), according to official figures on Wednesday.
Turkey's Energy Exchange Istanbul (EXIST) data for the trade volume on Wednesday's electricity market showed an increase of 3.4% to 349.79 million liras compared to Tuesday.
The arithmetical and weighted average price of electricity on the day-ahead spot market is calculated as 605.53 liras and 607.47 liras, respectively.
The highest electricity price for one megawatt-hour on the day-ahead spot market for Wednesday was set as 718 Turkish liras at 20.00 local time (1700 GMT), while the lowest 457.95 liras at 04.00 local time (0100 GMT).
US$1 equals 8.91 Turkish liras at 1113 GMT on Wednesday.
