The highest electricity rate for one megawatt-hour in the day-ahead spot market for Thursday will be 325.09 Turkish liras at 18.00 local time and the lowest will be 232.99 liras at 02.00 local time, according to official figures on Wednesday.
Turkey's Energy Exchange Istanbul (EXIST) data for the trade volume on Wednesday's electricity market showed an increase of 2.3% to 137.7 million liras compared to Tuesday.
The arithmetical and weighted average price of electricity on the day-ahead spot market is calculated as 288.22 liras and 289.74 liras, respectively.
The highest electricity price for one megawatt-hour on the day-ahead spot market on Tuesday was set as 319.43 Turkish liras at 18.00 local time and the lowest at 224.76 liras at 02.00, 03.00 and 23.00 local times.
US$1 equals 8.29 Turkish liras at 1114 GMT on Wednesday.
