The highest electricity rate for one megawatt-hour in the day-ahead spot market for Thursday will be 563.00 Turkish liras at 18.00 local time and the lowest will be 295.39 liras at 03.00 local time, according to official figures on Wednesday.
Turkey's Energy Exchange Istanbul (EXIST) data for the trade volume on Wednesday's electricity market showed an increase of 21% to 208.40 million liras compared to Tuesday.
The arithmetical and weighted average price of electricity on the day-ahead spot market is calculated as 371.81 liras and 377.75 liras, respectively.
The highest electricity price for one megawatt-hour on the day-ahead spot market on Wednesday was set as 445.56 liras at 18.00 local time and the lowest at 243.99 liras at 02.00 local time.
US$1 equals 7.94 Turkish liras at 1122 GMT on Wednesday.
