The highest electricity price rate for one megawatt-hour in Turkey's day-ahead spot market for Thursday will be 718 Turkish liras between 08.00 and 11.00 (0500-0800 GMT) and 14.00 and 22.00 local time (1100-1900 GMT), while the lowest will be 465.13 liras at 04.00 local time (0100 GMT), according to official figures on Wednesday.
Turkey's Energy Exchange Istanbul (EXIST) data for the trade volume on Wednesday's electricity market showed an increase of 6.10% to 377.87 million liras compared to Tuesday.
The arithmetical and weighted average price of electricity on the day-ahead spot market is calculated as 685.14 liras and 685.69 liras, respectively.
The highest electricity price for one megawatt-hour on the day-ahead spot market for Wednesday was set as 718 Turkish liras between 08.00 and 23.00 local time (0500-2000 GMT) with the lowest at 451.31 liras at 03.00 local time (0000 GMT).
US$1 equals 9.07 Turkish liras at 1128 GMT on Wednesday.
