Spot market electricity prices for Thursday, Oct. 1

- Energy Exchange Istanbul (EXIST) data shows electricity market trade volume amounts to 172.3 million Turkish liras

The highest electricity rate for one megawatt-hour in the day-ahead spot market for Wednesday will be 370.41 Turkish liras at 19.00 local time and the lowest will be 290.91 liras at 03.00 local time, according to official figures on Wednesday.

Turkey's Energy Exchange Istanbul (EXIST) data for the trade volume on Wednesday's electricity market showed a decrease of 7.1% to 172.3 million liras compared to Tuesday.

The arithmetical and weighted average price of electricity on the day-ahead spot market is calculated as 310 liras and 311.16 liras, respectively.

The highest electricity price for one megawatt-hour on the day-ahead spot market on Wednesday was set as 421.04 liras at 19.00 local time and the lowest at 292.75 liras at 04.00 local time.

US$1 equals 7.77 Turkish liras at 1125 GMT on Wednesday.
