The highest electricity rate for one-megawatt hour in the day-ahead spot market for Thursday will be 338 Turkish liras at 18.00 local time, and the lowest will be 198.99 liras at 00.00 local time, according to official figures on Wednesday.
Turkey's Energy Exchange Istanbul (EXIST) data for the electricity market's trade volume on Wednesday showed an increase of 5.72% to 129.39 million liras, compared to Tuesday.
The arithmetical and weighted average price of electricity for the day-ahead spot market is calculated as 294.22 liras and 297.96 liras, respectively.
The highest electricity price on the day-ahead spot market for one-megawatt hour on Wednesday was set as 336 Turkish liras at local time 18.00, and the lowest was 199 liras at local time 04.00 and 13.00.
US$1 equals 5.75 Turkish liras at 1116 GMT on Wednesday.
