Spot market electricity prices for Thursday, Nov. 4

- Energy Exchange Istanbul (EXIST) data shows electricity market trade amounts to 456.55 million Turkish liras

The highest electricity price rate for one megawatt-hour in Turkey's day-ahead spot market for Thursday will be 1,131 Turkish liras between 15.00 and 22.00 local time (1200-1900 GMT), while the lowest will be 600.33 liras at 12.00 local time (0900 GMT), according to official figures on Wednesday.

Turkey's Energy Exchange Istanbul (EXIST) data for the trade volume on Wednesday's electricity market showed a decrease of 9.8% to 456.55 million liras compared to Tuesday.

The arithmetical and weighted average price of electricity on the day-ahead spot market is calculated as 879.76 liras and 873.13 liras, respectively.

The highest electricity price for one megawatt-hour on the day-ahead spot market for Wednesday was set as 1,131 liras between 08.00 and 11.00 local time (0500-0800 GMT), with the lowest at 450.23 liras at 00.00 local time (2100 GMT).

US$1 equals 9.67 Turkish liras at 1116 GMT on Wednesday.
