The highest electricity price rate for one megawatt-hour in Turkey's day-ahead spot market for Thursday will be 1,131 Turkish liras between 08.00 and 11.00 local times (0500-0800GMT) and 14.00 and 21.00 local times (1100-1800GMT) while the lowest will be 673.03 liras at 03.00 and 04.00 local times (0000 and 0100GMT), according to official figures on Wednesday.
Turkey's Energy Exchange Istanbul (EXIST) data for the trade volume on Wednesday's electricity market showed an increase of 6.4% to 515.62 million liras compared to Tuesday.
The arithmetical and weighted average price of electricity on the day-ahead spot market is calculated as 940.94 liras and 944.31 liras, respectively.
The highest electricity price for one megawatt-hour on the day-ahead spot market for Wednesday was set as 1,131 liras between 15.00 and 21.00 (1200-1800 GMT), with the lowest at 659.98 liras at 04.00 local time (0100 GMT).
US$1 equals 10.43 Turkish liras at 1107 GMT on Wednesday.
