Spot market electricity prices for Thursday, May 25

- Energy Exchange Istanbul (EXIST) data shows electricity market trade amounts to 1 billion Turkish liras

The highest electricity price rate for one megawatt-hour on Türkiye's day-ahead spot market for Thursday will be 2,600 Turkish liras between 7 p.m. and 9 p.m. (1600 - 1800 GMT), according to official figures on Wednesday.

The lowest rate was set at 1,527 liras at 12 p.m. local time (0900 GMT), the data showed.

The Energy Exchange Istanbul (EXIST) data for the trade volume on Wednesday's electricity market showed a decrease of 3.4% to 1 billion liras compared to Tuesday.

The arithmetical and weighted average electricity prices on the day-ahead spot market are calculated as 2,020.47 liras and 2,028.57 liras, respectively.

The highest electricity price rate for one megawatt-hour for Wednesday was set as 2,600 liras between 7 p.m. and 9 p.m. (1600 - 1800 GMT), while the lowest rate was determined as 1,525 liras at 7 a.m. local time (0400 GMT), according to official figures.

US$1 equals 19.89 liras at 2.08 p.m. local time (1108 GMT) on Wednesday.
