The highest electricity price rate for one megawatt-hour on Türkiye's day-ahead spot market for Thursday will be 3,400 Turkish liras between 6 p.m. and 8 p.m. local time (1500-1700 GMT), according to official figures released Wednesday.
The lowest rate was set at 799.99 liras at 10 a.m. local time (0700 GMT), the data showed.
The Energy Exchange Istanbul (EXIST) data for Thursday's electricity market trade volume showed an increase of 27.4% to around 1.48 billion liras compared to Wednesday.
The arithmetical and weighted average prices for electricity on the day-ahead spot market are calculated at 2,254.24 liras and 2,283.38 liras, respectively.
The highest electricity price on the day-ahead spot market for one megawatt-hour for Wednesday was set at 3,246 liras at 8 p.m. local time (1700 GMT), while the lowest was set at 675.11 liras at 4 p.m. local time (1300 GMT), the data showed.
US$1 equals 43.96 liras at 2 p.m. local time (1100 GMT) on Wednesday.
