Spot market electricity prices for Thursday, March 26

- Energy Exchange Istanbul (EXIST) data shows electricity market trade volume amounts to 1.2 billion Turkish liras

The highest electricity price rate for one megawatt-hour on Türkiye's day-ahead spot market for Thursday will be 3,400 Turkish liras between 6 p.m. and 9 p.m. local time (1500 and 1800 GMT), according to official figures released Wednesday.

The lowest rate was set at 397.99 liras at 3 p.m. local time (1200 GMT), the data showed.

The Energy Exchange Istanbul (EXIST) data for Wednesday's electricity market trade volume showed an increase of 54.5% to around 1.2 billion liras compared to Tuesday.

The arithmetical and weighted average prices for electricity on the day-ahead spot market are calculated at 1,787.21 liras and 1,827.03 liras, respectively.

The highest electricity price on the day-ahead spot market for one megawatt-hour for Wednesday was set at 2,990.01 liras at 7 p.m. local time (1600 GMT), while the lowest was set at 251.01 liras at 2 p.m. local time (1100 GMT), the data showed.

US$1 equals 44.35 liras at 2 p.m. local time (1100 GMT) on Wednesday.
