The highest electricity rate for one-megawatt hour in the day-ahead spot market for Thursday will be 324.04 Turkish liras at 19.00 local time, and the lowest will be 65 liras at 07.00 local time, according to official figures on Wednesday.
Turkey's Energy Exchange Istanbul (EXIST) data for the electricity market's trade volume on Wednesday showed an increase of 15% to 97.07 million liras compared to Tuesday.
The arithmetical and weighted average price of electricity for the day-ahead spot market is calculated as 223.27 liras and 225.43 liras, respectively.
The highest electricity price on the day-ahead spot market for one-megawatt hour on Wednesday was set as 321.80 Turkish liras at 19.00 local time, and the lowest was 4.41 liras at 07.00 local time.
US$1 equals 6.42 Turkish liras at 1126 GMT on Wednesday.
