Spot market electricity prices for Thursday, March 22

- Energy Exchange Istanbul (EXIST) data shows trade volume as 72.45 million Turkish liras for electricity market

The highest electricity rate for one-megawatt hour in the day-ahead spot market for Thursday will be 185 Turkish liras at 20.00 local time, the lowest will be 129,49 liras at 23.00 local time, according to official figures on Wednesday.

Turkey's Energy Exchange Istanbul (EXIST) data for the trade volume in Wednesday's electricity market increased 1.65 percent to 72.45 million liras compared to Tuesday.

The arithmetical and weighted average price of electricity for the day-ahead spot market on Thursday is calculated as 162.39 liras and 163.01 liras, respectively.

The highest electricity price on the day-ahead spot market for one-megawatt hour for Wednesday was 213.90 liras at 09.00 local time, the lowest was 125 liras at 02.00 and 04.00 local time.

US$1 equals 3.94 liras, according to Turkey's Central Bank data.
