Spot market electricity prices for Thursday, March 17

- Energy Exchange Istanbul (EXIST) data shows electricity market trade amounts to 684.9 million Turkish liras

The highest electricity price rate for one megawatt-hour on Turkiye's day-ahead spot market for Thursday will be 1,745 Turkish liras between 00.00 and 22.00 local time (2100 - 1900 GMT), and the lowest is determined as 1,721.22 liras at 23.00 local time (2000 GMT), according to official figures on Sunday.

The Energy Exchange Istanbul (EXIST) data for the trade volume on Wednesday's electricity market showed an increase of 0.52% to 684.9 million liras compared to Tuesday.

The arithmetical and weighted average prices of electricity on the day-ahead spot market are calculated as 1,744.01 liras and 1,743.96 liras, respectively.

The highest electricity price rate for one megawatt-hour for Wednesday was set as 1,745 liras at all trading hours.

US$1 equals 14.68 liras at 1114 GMT on Wednesday.
