The highest electricity price rate for one megawatt-hour on Türkiye's day-ahead spot market for Thursday will be 3,050 Turkish liras at 9 a.m and 7 p.m. (0500 and 1600 GMT), according to official figures on Wednesday.
The lowest rate was set at 1,543.99 liras at 12 a.m. (0000 GMT ), the data showed.
The Energy Exchange Istanbul (EXIST) data for the trade volume on Wednesday's electricity market showed an decrease of 2.17% to 1.17 billion liras compared to Tuesday.
The arithmetical and weighted average electricity prices on the day-ahead spot market are calculated as 2,218.15 liras and 2,244.02 liras, respectively.
The highest electricity price rate for one megawatt-hour for Wednesday was set as 3,050 Turkish liras at 8 a.m and 9 a.m. (0500 and 0600 GMT), while the lowest rate was determined as 1,539.99 liras at 5 p.m. (1400 GMT), according to official figures.
US$1 equals 18.99 liras at 2.39 p.m. local time (1139 GMT) on Wednesday.
