Spot market electricity prices for Thursday, June 15

- Energy Exchange Istanbul (EXIST) data on Tuesday shows electricity market trade amounts to around 926.99 million Turkish liras

The highest electricity price rate for one megawatt-hour on Türkiye's day-ahead spot market for Thursday will be 2,399.99 Turkish liras at 9 p.m. (1800 GMT), according to official figures on Wednesday.

The lowest rate was set at 1,348.99 liras at 6 a.m. and 7 a.m. (0300 and 0400 GMT), the data confirmed.

The Energy Exchange Istanbul (EXIST) data for the trade volume on Wednesday's electricity market showed a decrease of 4.44% to around 926.99 million liras compared to Tuesday.

The arithmetical and weighted average electricity prices on the day-ahead spot market are calculated as 1,845.07 liras and 1,854.23 liras, respectively.

The highest electricity price rate for one megawatt-hour for Wednesday was set at 2,299.99 liras at 9 a.m. (0600 GMT), while the lowest rate was determined at 1,348.99 liras at 6 a.m. (0300 GMT), according to official figures.

US$1 equals 23.54 liras at 2.18 p.m. local time (1118 GMT) on Wednesday.
