The highest electricity rate for one megawatt-hour in the day-ahead spot market for Thursday will be 325.52 Turkish liras at 20.00 local time and the lowest at 205.73 liras at 06.00 local time, according to official figures on Wednesday.
Turkey's Energy Exchange Istanbul (EXIST) data for the electricity market's trade volume on Wednesday showed a decrease of 2.8% to 140.84 million liras compared to Tuesday.
The arithmetical and weighted average price of electricity for the day-ahead spot market is calculated as 307.33 liras and 309 liras, respectively.
The highest electricity price on the day-ahead spot market for one megawatt-hour on Wednesday was set as 332.72 Turkish liras at 14.00 local time and the lowest at 210 liras at 05.00 and 06.00 local times.
US$1 equals 6.79 Turkish liras at 1220 GMT on Wednesday.
