The highest electricity price rate for one megawatt-hour in Turkey's day-ahead spot market for Thursday will be 616.90 Turkish liras at 16.00 local time, while the lowest will be 351.34 liras at 07.00 local time, according to official figures on Wednesday.
Turkey's Energy Exchange Istanbul (EXIST) data for the trade volume on Wednesday's electricity market showed a decrease of 2.48% to 324.51 million liras compared to Tuesday.
The arithmetical and weighted average price of electricity on the day-ahead spot market is calculated as 527.67 liras and 531.30 liras, respectively.
The highest electricity price for one megawatt-hour on the day-ahead spot market on Wednesday was set as 617 Turkish liras at 00.00, and between 09.00 to 22.00 local times, while the lowest 367.094 liras at 07.00 local time.
US$1 equals 8.68 Turkish liras at 1127 GMT on Wednesday.
