Spot market electricity prices for Thursday, July 6

- Energy Exchange Istanbul (EXIST) data shows electricity market trade amounts to 1.10 billion Turkish liras

The highest electricity price rate for one megawatt-hour on Türkiye's day-ahead spot market for Thursday will be 2,450 Turkish liras at 8 p.m. (1700 GMT), according to official figures on Wednesday.

The lowest rate was set at 1,499.97 liras at 12 p.m. (0900 GMT), the data showed.

The Energy Exchange Istanbul (EXIST) data for the trade volume on Wednesday's electricity market showed an increase of 1% to 1.10 billion liras compared to Tuesday.

The arithmetical and weighted average electricity prices on the day-ahead spot market are calculated as 1,983.38 liras and 1,996.91 liras, respectively.

The highest electricity price rate for one megawatt-hour for Wednesday was set as 2,349.99 liras at 7 p.m. and 8 p.m. (1600 and 1700 GMT), while the lowest rate was set at 1,299.99 liras at 7 a.m. (0400 GMT), according to official figures.

US$1 equals 26.09 liras at 2.12 p.m. local time (1112 GMT) on Wednesday.
