Spot market electricity prices for Thursday, July 4

- Energy Exchange Istanbul (EXIST) data shows electricity market trade amounts to around 1.94 billion Turkish liras

The highest electricity price rate for one megawatt-hour on Türkiye's day-ahead spot market for Thursday will be 3,000 Turkish liras between 12 a.m., 9 a.m. 10 a.m. and between 2 p.m. and 11 p.m. (2100, 0600 and 0700 GMT, 1100-2000 GMT), according to official figures on Wednesday.

The lowest rate was set at 2,298 liras at 7 p.m. local time (0400 GMT), the data showed.

The Energy Exchange Istanbul (EXIST) data for the trade volume for Thursday's electricity market shows an increase of 3.87% to around 1.94 billion liras compared to Wednesday.

The arithmetical and weighted average electricity prices on the day-ahead spot market are calculated as 2,913.48 liras and 2,922.17 liras, respectively.

The highest electricity price rate for one megawatt-hour for Wednesday was set at 3,000 Turkish liras between 12 a.m. and 3 a.m. and between 7 p.m. and 10 p.m. (2100-0000 GMT, 1600-1900 GMT), while the lowest rate was determined at 2,074.99 liras at 12 p.m. local time (0900 GMT).

US$1 equals 32.59 liras at 2.10 p.m. local time (1110 GMT) on Wednesday.
