The highest electricity price rate for one megawatt-hour in Turkey's day-ahead spot market for Thursday will be 617 Turkish liras at 00.00 and 21.00 local times while the lowest will be 268 liras at 16.00 local time, according to official figures on Wednesday.
Turkey's Energy Exchange Istanbul (EXIST) data for the trade volume on Wednesday's electricity market showed a decrease of 15.7% to 208.33 million liras compared to Tuesday.
The arithmetical and weighted average price of electricity on the day-ahead spot market is calculated as 411.23 liras and 411.22 liras, respectively.
The highest electricity price for one megawatt-hour on the day-ahead spot market on Tuesday was 617 Turkish liras at 00.00 and between 19.00-23.00 local times while the lowest was 340.73 liras at 09.00 local time.
US$1 equals 8.59 Turkish liras at 1125 GMT on Wednesday.
