The highest electricity price rate for one megawatt-hour on Türkiye's day-ahead spot market for Thursday will be 3,400.00 Turkish liras between 8 a.m. and 7 p.m. local time (0500-1600 GMT), according to official figures released Wednesday.
The lowest rate was set at 2,333.03 liras at 5 a.m. local time (0200 GMT), the data showed.
The Energy Exchange Istanbul (EXIST) data for Thursday's electricity market trade volume showed a decrease of 2.2% to around 2.06 billion liras compared to Wednesday.
The arithmetical and weighted average prices for electricity on the day-ahead spot market are calculated at 3,100.43 liras and 3,126.99 liras, respectively.
The highest electricity price on the day-ahead spot market for one megawatt-hour for Wednesday was set at 3,400.00 liras between 8 a.m. and 8 p.m. local time (0500-1700 GMT), while the lowest was at 2,654.33 liras at 2 a.m. local time (2300 GMT on Tuesday), the data showed.
US$1 equals 43.29 liras at 2.15 p.m. local time (1115 GMT) on Wednesday.
