Spot market electricity prices for Thursday, Jan. 21

- Energy Exchange Istanbul (EXIST) data shows electricity market trade volume amounts to 197.75 million Turkish liras

The highest electricity rate for one megawatt-hour in the day-ahead spot market for Thursday will be 342.12 Turkish liras at 17.00 and the lowest will be 311.69 liras at 04.00 local time, according to official figures on Wednesday.

Turkey's Energy Exchange Istanbul (EXIST) data for the trade volume on Wednesday's electricity market showed a decrease of 3.65% to 197.75 million liras compared to Tuesday.

The arithmetical and weighted average price of electricity on the day-ahead spot market is calculated as 325.71 liras and 326.70 liras, respectively.

The highest electricity price for one megawatt-hour on the day-ahead spot market on Wednesday was set as 348.32 liras at 17.00 and the lowest at 314.12 liras at 04.00 local time.

US$1 equals 7.45 Turkish liras at 1115 GMT on Wednesday.
