The highest electricity price rate for one megawatt-hour on Türkiye's day-ahead spot market for Thursday will be 3,000 Turkish liras at 8 a.m., 9 a.m., 4 p.m. and 5 p.m. local time (0500, 0600, 1300, 1400 GMT), according to official figures on Wednesday.
The lowest rate is set at 2,140 liras at 11 p.m. local time (2000 GMT), the data showed.
The Energy Exchange Istanbul (EXIST) data for the trade volume for Thursday's electricity market shows a decrease of 8.3% to 1.77 billion liras compared to Wednesday.
The arithmetical and weighted average electricity prices on the day-ahead spot market are calculated as 2,581.84 liras and 2,614.57 liras, respectively.
The highest electricity price rate for one megawatt-hour for Wednesday was set at 3,000 Turkish at 2 p.m., and between 4 p.m. and 6 p.m. local time (1100, 1300-1500 GMT), while the lowest was set at 1,799.98 liras at 4 a.m. and 5 a.m. local time (0100 and 0200 GMT), according to official figures.
US$1 equals 35.48 liras at 2.30 p.m. local time (1130 GMT) on Wednesday.
