The highest electricity rate for one-megawatt hour in the day-ahead spot market for Thursday will be 339.75 Turkish liras at 9.00 local time, and the lowest will be 258.72 liras at 04.00 local time, according to official figures on Wednesday.
Turkey's Energy Exchange Istanbul (EXIST) data for the electricity market's trade volume on Wednesday showed a decrease of 4% to 154.66 million liras compared to Tuesday.
The arithmetical and weighted average price of electricity for the day-ahead spot market is calculated as 317.93 liras and 319.64 liras, respectively.
The highest electricity price on the day-ahead spot market for one-megawatt hour on Wednesday was set as 344.62 liras at 19.00 local time, and the lowest was 276.12 liras at 05.00 local time.
US$1 equals 6.08 Turkish liras on Monday at 1145 GMT.
