The highest electricity price rate for one megawatt-hour in Turkey's day-ahead spot market for Thursday will be 1,208.26 Turkish liras at 17.00 local time (1400 GMT), while the lowest will be 800 liras at 05.00 local time (0200 GMT), according to official figures on Wednesday.
Turkey's Energy Exchange Istanbul (EXIST) data for the trade volume on Wednesday's electricity market showed a decrease of 8.29% to 565.25 million liras compared to Tuesday.
The arithmetical and weighted average price of electricity on the day-ahead spot market is calculated as 976.36 liras and 981.75 liras, respectively.
The highest electricity price for one megawatt-hour on the day-ahead spot market for Wednesday was set as 1,217 liras between 09.00 and 11.00 local time (0600-0800 GMT) and between 14.00 and 21.00 local time (1100-1800 GMT), with the lowest at 763.09 liras at 03.00 local time (0000 GMT),
US$1 equals 13.67 Turkish liras at 1111 GMT on Wednesday.
