The highest electricity price rate for one megawatt-hour on Türkiye's day-ahead spot market for Thursday will be 3,400 Turkish liras between 7 a.m. and 9 a.m. and between 3 p.m. and 6 p.m. local time (0400-0600 and 1200-1500 GMT), according to official figures released Wednesday.
The lowest rate was set at 2,687.33 liras at 3 a.m and 4 a.m. local time (0000, 0100 GMT), the data showed.
The Energy Exchange Istanbul (EXIST) data for Thursday's electricity market trade volume showed a decrease of 0.4% to around 1.92 billion liras compared to Wednesday.
The arithmetical and weighted average prices for electricity on the day-ahead spot market are calculated at 3,161.64 liras and 3,176.63 liras, respectively.
The highest electricity price on the day-ahead spot market for one megawatt-hour for Wednesday was set at 3,400 liras between 7 a.m. and 9 a.m. and between 4 p.m. and 9 p.m. local time (0400-0600 and 1300-1800 GMT) while the lowest was set at 2,400 liras at 12 p.m. local time (0900 GMT), the data showed.
US$1 equals 42.45 liras at 2 p.m. local time (1100 GMT) on Wednesday.
