Spot market electricity prices for Thursday, Dec. 12

- Energy Exchange Istanbul (EXIST) data shows electricity market trade volume amounts to 144.9 million Turkish liras

The highest electricity rate for one-megawatt hour in the day-ahead spot market for Thursday will be 338 Turkish liras at 17.00 local time, and the lowest will be 254.58 liras at 03.00 local time, according to official figures on Wednesday.

Turkey's Energy Exchange Istanbul (EXIST) data for the electricity market's trade volume on Wednesday showed an increase of 2.43% to 144.9 million liras, compared to Tuesday.

The arithmetical and weighted average price of electricity for the day-ahead spot market is calculated as 317.84 liras and 320.85 liras, respectively.

The highest electricity price on the day-ahead spot market for one-megawatt hour on Wednesday was set as 335.01 Turkish liras at 17.00 local time, and the lowest was 200.01 liras at 04.00 and 05.00 local times.

US$1 equals 5.81 Turkish liras at 11.36 GMT on Wednesday.
