The highest electricity price rate for one megawatt-hour in Turkey's day-ahead spot market for Thursday will be 636 Turkish liras at 00.00 (2100 GMT) and 01.00 (2200 GMT) and between 08.00 and 23.00 (0500–2000 GMT) while the lowest will be 404.06 liras at 06.00 local time (0300 GMT), according to official figures on Wednesday.
Turkey's Energy Exchange Istanbul (EXIST) data for the trade volume on Wednesday's electricity market showed a decrease of 2.36% to 327.28 million liras compared to Tuesday.
The arithmetical and weighted average price of electricity on the day-ahead spot market is calculated as 597.10 liras and 594.82 liras, respectively.
The electricity price for one megawatt-hour on the day-ahead spot market for Wednesday is set as 636 liras between 08.00 and 23.00 (500–2000 GMT), and the lowest at 373.50 liras at 06.00 local time (0300 GMT).
US$1 equals 8.41 Turkish liras at 1152 GMT on Wednesday.
