The highest electricity price rate for one megawatt-hour in Turkey's day-ahead spot market for Thursday will be 636 Turkish liras between 00.00 and 04.00 local times (2100-0100 GMT) and between 07.00 and 23.00 local times (0400 and 2000 GMT) while the lowest will be 595.56 liras at 06.00 local time (0300 GMT), according to official figures on Wednesday.
Turkey's Energy Exchange Istanbul (EXIST) data for the trade volume on Wednesday's electricity market showed a decrease of 2.67% to 314.98 million liras compared to Tuesday.
The arithmetical and weighted average price of electricity on the day-ahead spot market is calculated as 632.81 liras and 632.23 liras, respectively.
The highest electricity price for one megawatt-hour on the day-ahead spot market for Wednesday is set as 636 liras between 00.00 and 05.00 local times (2100-0200 GMT) and between 07.00 and 23.00 local times (0400 and 2000 GMT) with the lowest at 413.57 liras at 06.00 local time (0300 GMT).
US$1 equals 8.44 Turkish liras at 1103 GMT on Wednesday.
