Spot market electricity prices for Thursday, Aug. 11

- Energy Exchange Istanbul (EXIST) data shows electricity market trade amounts to 1.38 billion Turkish liras

The highest electricity price rate for one megawatt-hour on Türkiye's day-ahead spot market for Thursday will be 3,749.98 Turkish liras at 04.00 p.m. local time (1300 GMT), according to official figures on Wednesday.

The lowest rate is determined as 1,945.66 liras at 07.00 a.m. local time (0400 GMT), the figures showed.

The Energy Exchange Istanbul (EXIST) data for the trade volume on Wednesday's electricity market showed a decrease of 9.65% to 1.38 billion liras compared to Tuesday.

The arithmetical and weighted average electricity prices on the day-ahead spot market are calculated as 2,666.49 liras and 2,617.01 liras, respectively.

The highest electricity price rate for one megawatt-hour for Wednesday was set as 3,304 liras at 04.00 p.m. local time (1300 GMT), while the lowest rate is determined as 1,999.97 liras at 06.00 a.m. local time (0300 GMT), according to official figures.

US$1 equals 17.95 liras at 02.00 p.m. local time (1100GMT) on Wednesday.
