Spot market electricity prices for Thursday, April 9

- Energy Exchange Istanbul (EXIST) data shows electricity market trade volume amounts to 72.6 million Turkish liras

The highest electricity rate for one-megawatt hour in the day-ahead spot market for Thursday will be 321.08 Turkish liras at 19.00 and 20.00 local time, and the lowest will be 25 liras between 06.00 and 07.00 local times, according to official figures on Thursday.

Turkey's Energy Exchange Istanbul (EXIST) data for the electricity market's trade volume on Wednesday showed an increase of 137.5% to 72.6 million liras compared to Tuesday.

The arithmetical and weighted average price of electricity for the day-ahead spot market is calculated as 181.54 liras and 183.92 liras, respectively.

The highest electricity price on the day-ahead spot market for one-megawatt hour on Wednesday was set as 277.20 liras at 20.00 local time, and the lowest was 1 lira between 03.00-07.00 local times.

US$1 equals 6.76 Turkish liras at 1140 GMT on Wednesday.
