Spot market electricity prices for Thursday, April 2

- Energy Exchange Istanbul (EXIST) data shows electricity market trade volume amounts to 406.18 million Turkish liras

The highest electricity price rate for one megawatt-hour on Türkiye's day-ahead spot market for Thursday will be 2,450 Turkish liras at 7 p.m. local time (1600 GMT), according to official figures released Wednesday.

The lowest rate is set at 199.99 liras at 4 a.m. local time (0100 GMT), the data showed.

The Energy Exchange Istanbul (EXIST) data for Thursday's electricity market trade volume showed a decrease of 10.65% to around 406.18 million liras compared to Wednesday.

The arithmetical and weighted average prices for electricity on the day-ahead spot market are calculated at 737.73 liras and 837.54 liras, respectively.

The highest electricity price on the day-ahead spot market for one megawatt-hour for Wednesday was set at 2,098.48 liras at 7 p.m. local time (1600 GMT), while the lowest was set at 181 liras at 12 p.m. local time (0900 GMT), the data showed.

US$1 equals 44.47 liras at 2.25 p.m. local time (1125 GMT) on Wednesday.
