The highest electricity rate for one-megawatt hour in the day-ahead spot market for Thursday will be 322.51 Turkish liras at 01.00 local time, and the lowest will be 20 lira at 07.00 local time, according to official figures on Wednesday.
Turkey's Energy Exchange Istanbul (EXIST) data for the electricity market's trade volume on Wednesday showed an increase of 27.4% to 72.3 million liras compared to Tuesday.
The arithmetical and weighted average price of electricity for the day-ahead spot market is calculated as 183.18 liras and 183.352 liras, respectively.
The highest electricity price on the day-ahead spot market for one-megawatt hour on Wednesday was set as 323.62 Turkish liras at 20.00 local time, and the lowest will be 1 lira at 03.00 and 04.00 local times.
US$1 equals 6.66 Turkish liras at 1123 GMT on Wednesday.
