Spot market electricity prices for Sunday, Sept. 14

- Energy Exchange Istanbul (EXIST) data shows electricity market trade volume amounts to 1.28 billion Turkish liras

The highest electricity price rate for one megawatt-hour on Türkiye's day-ahead spot market for Sunday will be 3,399.34 Turkish liras between 6 p.m. and 9 p.m. (1500-1800 GMT), according to official figures released Saturday.

The lowest rate was set at 35.01 liras at 11 a.m. local time (0800 GMT), the data showed.

The Energy Exchange Istanbul (EXIST) data for the trade volume for Saturday's electricity market shows a decrease of 21.6% to around 1.28 billion liras compared to Friday.

The arithmetical and weighted average prices for electricity on the day-ahead spot market are calculated at 2,048.44 liras and 2,126.71 liras, respectively.

The highest electricity price on the day-ahead spot market for one megawatt-hour for Saturday was set at 3,399.34 liras at 7 p.m. (1600 GMT) while the lowest was set at 748.1 liras at 3 p.m. local time (1200 GMT), the data showed.

US$1 equals 41.35 liras at 2.00 p.m. local time (1100 GMT) on Saturday.
