The highest electricity price rate for one megawatt-hour in Turkey's day-ahead spot market for Monday will be 1,078 Turkish liras between 08.00-11.00 local time (0500-0800 GMT) and 14.00-20.00 (1100-1700 GMT), while the lowest will be 446.87 liras at 04.00 local time (0100 GMT), according to official figures on Sunday.
Turkey's Energy Exchange Istanbul (EXIST) data for the trade volume on Sunday's electricity market showed an increase of 45.7% to 446.96 million liras compared to Saturday.
The arithmetical and weighted average price of electricity on the day-ahead spot market is calculated as 818.04 liras and 829.39 liras, respectively.
The highest electricity price for one megawatt-hour on the day-ahead spot market for Saturday was set as 1,001 Turkish liras at 20.00 local time (1700 GMT), while the lowest was 442.27 liras at 10.00 local time (0700 GMT).
US$1 equals 9.27 Turkish liras at 1156 GMT on Sunday.
