Spot market electricity prices for Sunday, Nov. 1

- Energy Exchange Istanbul (EXIST) data shows electricity market trade volume amounts to 132.8 million Turkish liras

The highest electricity rate for one megawatt-hour in the day-ahead spot market for Sunday will be 322.13 Turkish liras at 18.00 local time and the lowest will be 153.74 liras at 12.00 local time, according to official figures on Saturday.


Turkey's Energy Exchange Istanbul (EXIST) data for the trade volume on Saturday's electricity market showed a decrease of 12.6% to 132.8 million liras compared to Friday.


The arithmetical and weighted average price of electricity on the day-ahead spot market is calculated as 284.85 liras and 285.09 liras, respectively.


The highest electricity price for one megawatt-hour on the day-ahead spot market on Friday was set as 323.72 Turkish liras at 18.00 local time and the lowest was 232.99 liras at 04.00 local time.


US$1 equals 8.34 Turkish liras at 1113 GMT on Saturday.
