Spot market electricity prices for Sunday, June 19

- Energy Exchange Istanbul (EXIST) data shows electricity market trade amounts to 872.87 million Turkish liras

The highest electricity price rate for one megawatt-hour on Türkiye's day-ahead spot market for Sunday will be 2,681.61 Turkish liras at 21.00 local time (1800 GMT), according to official figures on Saturday.

The lowest rate is determined as 500.01 liras at 08.00 local time (0500 GMT), the figures showed.

The Energy Exchange Istanbul (EXIST) data for the trade volume on Saturday's electricity market showed a decrease of 30.22% to 872.87 million liras compared to Friday.

The arithmetical and weighted average prices of electricity on the day-ahead spot market are calculated as liras 1,761.63 and 1,762.48 liras, respectively.

The highest electricity price rate for one megawatt-hour for Saturday was set as 3,043.64 Turkish liras at 00.00 local time (2100 GMT), while the lowest rate was determined as 1,631.99 liras at 07.00 local time (0400 GMT), the figures showed.

US$1 equals 17.32 liras at 1116 GMT on Saturday.
