Spot market electricity prices for Sunday, June 11

- Energy Exchange Istanbul (EXIST) data on Friday shows electricity market trade amounts to around 662.2 million Turkish liras

The highest electricity price rate for one megawatt-hour on Türkiye's day-ahead spot market for Sunday will be 2,499.99 Turkish liras at 8 p.m. (1700 GMT), according to official figures on Saturday.

The lowest rate was set at 900 liras at 12 p.m. (0900 GMT), the data showed.

The Energy Exchange Istanbul (EXIST) data for the trade volume on Saturday's electricity market showed a decrease of 29.2% to around 662.2 million liras compared to Friday.

The arithmetical and weighted average electricity prices on the day-ahead spot market are calculated as 1,524.36 liras and 1,541.82 liras, respectively.

The highest electricity price rate for one megawatt-hour for Saturday was set at 2,500 liras at 8 p.m. (1700 GMT), while the lowest rate was determined at 1450 liras at 7 a.m. (0400 GMT), according to official figures.

US$1 equals 23.38 liras at 2.10 p.m. local time (1110 GMT) on Saturday.
