The highest electricity price rate for one megawatt-hour on Türkiye's day-ahead spot market for Sunday will be 3,000 Turkish liras at 08.00 and 09.00 p.m. local time (1700 and 1800 GMT), according to official figures on Saturday.
The lowest rate is determined as 1,499.99 liras at 8.00 a.m. local time (0500 GMT), the figures showed.
The Energy Exchange Istanbul (EXIST) data for the trade volume on Saturday's electricity market showed a decrease of 16.9% to 1.06 billion liras compared to Friday.
The arithmetical and weighted average prices of electricity on the day-ahead spot market are calculated as 2,184.29 liras and 2,186.47 liras, respectively.
The highest electricity price rate for one megawatt-hour for Saturday was set at 3,228.61 Turkish liras at 8.00 p.m. local time (1700 GMT), while the lowest rate is determined as 1,475.49 liras at 7.00 a.m. and 12 p.m. local time (0400 and 0900 GMT), according to the official figures.
US$1 equals 17.74 liras at 02.30 p.m. local time (1130 GMT) on Saturday.
